Don't hold this against us, but SimpleRegistry is brand new! So these are some great tips but not from "real" members quite yet. We estimate they are 83.4% as good as tips from "real" members – that's up 5.4% this month!

• Register for every amount, that way people with a limited budget can still contribute and feel that they have provided you something special.
• Use all the functionality that SimpleRegistry has to offer. Post as many pictures as you can and be descriptive enough about your event to make your guests feel as though they are part of the experience.
• Register for everyones' taste. A day of museums, cappuccino maker, night at the opera, a fancy dinner, gourmet knife set, a charming hotel, KitchenAid mixer, snorkeling/hiking/fishing tour, etc. People will choose what resonates with their own sensibility. Finally, to really make people feel like they were personally connected to your registry, take pictures at every place and with every item you registered for and send a copy of the relevant photo with your "thank you."
• Don't be afraid to be funny and creative on your registry. This will help make the gift giving experience fun for all of your guests!
• Use really creative pictures to describe your gifts. The more inviting the picture looks to your guest, the more likely they will buy it! Everyone who buys a gift from SimpleRegistry will comment on how much they would have wanted those gifts for themselves so make sure you cover a variety of items and activities.
