We will continue accepting any and all donations for the family indefinitely. You may donate any amount, starting at $10.00, for their upcoming Disney trip. And, as always, you can also click on General Gift towards the bottom of the page for a general donation to assist Bea and her family, starting at $5.00. Thanks so much for your generosity! And many, many thanks to all of you who have supported.
Sweet Bea is a beautiful 6-year-old girl who is a bright, shining star. We have had the pleasure of knowing her for several years now. When my daughter first attended preschool, all we heard about was her new best pal, Bea! It wasn't until my family got to know her, that we could understand why my daughter, Mimi, was so crazy about her. Bea is an incredibly sweet and caring friend, not a mean bone in her body, a thoroughly loyal friend. She lights up every room with her infectious smile and bright eyes, and is always surrounded by friends.
On December 17th, Bea was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. She has just wrapped up her 6 weeks of radiation treatment. Our wish for Bea and her family is for them to experience many fun and unique events now that Bea is feeling ready to take on the world.
The purpose of this site is to handle the fees and costs that come with taking on the world. As her friends, family and loved ones we are hoping you can take a minute to "purchase" these fun memories and dreams. You can make either monetary donations or in-kind goods and services that could help the family during this trying time.
Also, take a look at Bea and Helen's beautiful artwork and graphic designs for sell on Etsy. Helen is Bea's talented and loving mommy and the proceeds go to Bea's medical treatments and expenses. Here are the links to her three Etsy stores:
Helen has set up a blog, where you can read about Bea and her progress. There is also a Pay Pal account on that blog site for friends and loved ones to make donations to defray the costs of treatments and therapies for Sweet Bea. Here is the link:
Thank you so much for your generous support, thoughts and prayers.
