Since Maria worked at a culinary store for almost 4 years we pretty much have everything we need for the kitchen. I mean who really needs three ladles!! Apparently we do. So we really don't have much of anything that we "need" in that department, but what we don't have and would love some help with is helping us take an unforgettable trip!!! AKA The Goadmoon

Since Thad has never been to Europe we thought what a great opportunity to see a fabulous part of the world that neither of us have ever been to while relaxing with the most unforgettable views. With that said we have decided to go to THE GREEK ISLES!

We will be leaving for two weeks after our wedding and will be visiting three cities: Santorini, Mykonos and Athens. We are so excited!!!

I have had a Silpat for years and they are a must in ANY kitchen! For a recent event I made 12 doz cookies and waiting for 10 minutes to cook each batch added up quickly. I am wanting to add another cookie sheet & silpat to my kitchen to help with time.

I lusted after this grater the last few months I was at Viking. I don't know why...i guess it's the rubbery handle and feet and I love anything Microplane...nuff said!!! Oh and I don't have a box grater.

1.5 Qt Sauce Pot -- We already have the 2 Qt and 3 Qt sauce pots and use them every day!!! Maria's grandmother purchased us the 8.5 Qt sauce pot so this is one of the last pots that we need.

Honeymoon!!!!

The first day after the wedding we don't have to rush off to our honeymoon so we will be able to relax and make our way over to San Juan. We are staying at the Coral Princess Hotel, which is right around the corner from the most fabulous restaurant!

We ate at this restaurant during our "wedding scouting" trip a year ago and have been trying to figure out a way to make our way back. The food is outstanding and who wouldn't love eating in a restaurant in the shape of a sea shell with a view of the sea?

In celebration of our first "official" dinner, ok maybe second, as husband and wife (EEEEK!) as well as Thad's 36th birthday we will be dining at the hotel's Relais & Châteaux restaurant. I am sure it will be an extra special meal for us!!!

The first official day of our honeymoon is Thad's 36th birthday so we want to be sure we are in a spectacular location, which is why we will be spending our first 4 nights in Mykonos, Greece staying at the Myconian Ambassador Hotel & Thalasso Spa Center.

I am already excited to go eat at this restaurant in Mykonos called Avli tou Thodori (Theodore's Courtyard). It is within walking distance of our hotel and overlooks the water with an amazing menu!!! I think we will go on our second night in Mykonos.

After Mykonos we will be flying to the Island of Santorini for 4 nights of more great views staying at the Canaves Oia hotel. I already have a feeling that 4 nights won't be enough!!!

Our last stop on our Honeymoon is Athens to see the Acropolis and prepare for our flight back to reality! We are staying at the Electra Palace Hotel right in the middle of the city with an AMAZING view of the Acropolis from our room!!!!

While Maria has some frequent flyer miles to help with the cost of the flights we still need a bit more to get us to "The Goadmoon!" We will also be celebrating Thad's first airplane dinner. He is SO excited!!! ;0)

With all the island hopping we needed a way to get from airport to hotel and back so we have car transfers set up for each island. We are SO glad we don't have to worry about how to get around!!!
