Q: What's the best way to thank our gift givers?

A: I believe a personal thank you card is always the best way to go. Even better, include a photo of the item, activity, or experience you received in the thank you card. Your gift givers will really appreciate the thoughtfulness.

As for timing, according to the Emily Post Institute, your thank-you notes should be written within three months of the receipt of the gift.

To make this process as easy as possible, SimpleRegistry provides members with all guest contact information and an easy way to keep track of whom you still need to thank.

On your Account Management page, simply click on the "Thank You List" button to access the system. From there, you can also print out a contact form (via HTML, XLS, or PDF) that lists all gifts and the relevant guest information.
