"From the moment we were engaged, my husband and I knew that we would move overseas. My husband had recently graduated, and his new job turned out to be in Madrid, Spain! We completed our move from North Carolina to Madrid, and then we focused on our upcoming wedding. So many details to work out!
One of these details? The wedding registry. When it came time to pick this, we were stumped. My family and the wedding was going to be in NC. But, my husband is German, and all his family and friends were travelling from abroad. To make matters even more complicated, after the wedding, my husband and I were going to be living in Madrid for another year, but then moving back to the USA.
We didn't want anyone to have to bring presents on an overseas trip. We also didn't want to have things shipped from NC back to Madrid...and then back to NC a year later. And because we were living in Spain, we didn't really have access to traditional stores and registries. What a mess!
We were stuck for a while, and spent some time thinking and searching the internet for ideas. Then we came across SimpleRegistry, and we knew we had found a solution with the perfect fit and flexibility to make everyone happy!"
